This time, we tried 'simmered kabocha'.
Ingredients (2p):
- 1/2 kabocha (Japanese pumpkin)
- circa 180 ml water
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
Cut the kabocha into small cubes.
In a pan, mix together the water, soy, and sugar and bring to boil. When it boils, add the pumpkin pieces and turn down the heat. Now let the pumpkin simmer for about 15 minutes.
